Youth Education

Our goal is to introduce youth to quilting and sewing. We hope to spark their interest in a life-long quilt passion and appreciation. Projects are small and simple enough to complete in class, but challenging enough that kids will learn how to sew and quilt.

Just all-around wonderful. We will be back next year!

Hooray, for Summer Camps!! The museum will host 2, week-long Youth Camps. Each class focuses on several projects which can be taken home daily. We will teach entry-level sewing (if needed) and provide education on textile arts and quilting.

Ages nine through teen years will be welcome. Bring your machine and any fabric that you'd like to use. Supply lists and projects will be available in March.

Camps held at: 200 Violet Street, Suite 150, Golden. Register for camps either by calling 303-277-0377 or stop by our Gift Shop or purchase the class through our Online Store.

Individualized classes, trunk shows and tours of the museum are also available for girl/boy scouts, classrooms, homeschool and other groups. Please call the office for more information 303-215-9001. Or email Mitzi King at education@rmqm.org

We hope to learn from each other and have a fun and engaging experience!
