Nevada Battle Borne State Block 10 - The Battle Born State is the official state nickname and slogan of Nevada. It recalls that Nevada was admitted to the union in 1864, during the Civil War. Other state symbols: Desert Tortoise, Gopherus agassizii is the state reptile, sage sagebrush state flower and the pick axe and star which were printed on 2006 state quarter.

Each realistic album style block is filled with flowers, birds and a little American History. Each pattern includes full size numbered pattern with detailed embroidery instructions and Pearl's Easy Applique Techniques. Join us as we travel across America block by block and state by state.
