Learn how to create stunning designs with the Frax HD app on your iPad which can be printed on fabric for modern whole cloth quilts or used as an applique pattern. Info will also be provided on printing at home or online. Hands-on class, iPad/iPhone required.

Great class for learning to embellish a jacket that needs a little extra to improve its style! Learn to add one-of-a-kind items using free motion, decorative stitches and design.

Learn numerous approaches for creating and printing your own unique designs on various fabric and papers. This is a perfecgt workshop for quilters wanting to print their own patterns and images. The following relief printing techniques will be covered: foam printing, linoleum cuts, and woodblocks. These are basic processes that anyone can master without the need for a large space and expensive equipment. Supply fee: $10. If you have natural fiber fabric (linen, cotton, etc.) at home that you would love to print on please bring to the class.

Kids Kamp - June 1 through 5, 2020

Hooray, for Summer Camps!! The museum will host week-long Youth Camps in June. Each class focuses on several projects which can be taken home daily. We will teach entry-level sewing (if needed) and provide education on textile arts and quilting. Pick one session. Students can register for either Session 1 or Session 2. The class is not designed to be attended both weeks. Ages nine through teen years will be welcome. Machines and supplies will be provided. If you already have a machine and fabrics you would like to use please feel free to bring them; however you are not required to come with supplies.
