Featherweight FUN - on the 3rd FRIDAY of April! | April 17

Does your Featherweight need a tune up?
Do you know how to take care of all the basic maintenance and keep your Singer 221, 222 or 301 purring along?
This is an opportunity to meet one-on-one with Lisa, an amazing machine technician, who will perform your machine's maintenance while you learn how to keep your Featherweight out of the shop and identify the times when professional repair may be necessary.
By the end of the 1 hour session, your machine will have received an examination for problems, a complete yearly machine service including interior cleaning, proper lubrication, and adjustments as required. BEST THING? YOU will have acquired the knowledge, materials, and confidence to maintain your own machine in the future!!
Lisa will show you all the basics and let you do some of the work, so you feel confident that you really can do it. You will learn what the various parts of your machine do, and the daily, weekly and yearly cleaning and lubricating you need to do to keep it running smoothly. Troubleshooting basics will be covered as well, so thread jams, tension issues, skipped stitches will not be troubling - because YOU know what to do about them!!
You will need to bring:
your machine, bobbin, bobbin case, foot controller, thread
a fabric scrap (at least 6"X6")
a pen or pencil to take notes on handouts - to remember things -
your reading glasses!!

your reading glasses!!
If your machine requires parts - like belts, LED bulb, bed cushion feet, anti-vibration pads, etc. - Lisa will have them with her for purchase, if you choose. If a repair service is needed that cannot be completed during the 1-hour session, you may elect to let Lisa take it to her workshop for further evaluation and repair. $40 of your clinic registration will be deducted from the customary service charge.
One machine per appointment slot. The benefit of this one-on-one workshop is learning about caring for your Featherweight or 301, so drop-offs are not allowed.
