Know Your Antique Quilt !

Audience members get to observe and listen as a panel of knowledgeable quilters and a certified quilt appraiser pour over the quilts brought in by audience members. You will learn from every quilt; things like special fabrics, dyes or patterns that help identify the age of a quilt or maybe what region of the country it comes from.

Those quilts that are in your attic or closets are potential quilts to submit to the panel's examination. One quilt can be submitted per person, and there will only be time for the panel to provide a historical evaluation of 20 quilts - so don't wait to get a spot for your quilt. There is a $5 fee per quilt, that is not included in your SAM registration.

The panel will spend about 5 minutes on each quilt.

NON-Members pay fee of $15 GUEST PASSES are not accepted for this event.
