Sunday at the Museum Members Pre-Registration

A Panel from the Colorado Japanese American Women’s Quilt Project  -

Honoring the experiences of Japanese American Women who have been part of Colorado’s story through some of the toughest times of modern World history, the women who participated in this project included women throughout Colorado and Nebraska.  They will share about their families lives, specifically the challenges of Japanese women's lives in rural and urban settings, often tinged with memories of the unjust WWII incarceration and then un-named struggle with post-traumatic stress and their search for identity with the land of their parents and grandparents’ birth.

RMQM will be closed until 1pm when the Shop doors will open for some shopping before the event- then at 1:30 Seating will open for the event.
