Digital Fabric Printing Made Easy with Jennifer Rapacki - Feb 8

If you are intrigued by the idea of creating your quilt from a photo or digital format and printing it on fabric through Spoonflower or other company - this is the class for you! Jennifer will teach you how you can do it, using a FREE version of Photoshop Elements. You will create a file ready to be printed and learn all the details needed along the way.

This full day class will go through all the terminology and settings that digital artists discuss with such ease - but that sound overwhelming when you just want to dabble and see if digital artwork and fabric printing is for you.

Supplies:
This is a hands-on class, so you need a laptop you are very familiar with and the FREE version of Photoshop Elements.

Requirements: Hands-on class, laptop required.
Instructor: Jennifer Rapacki
Instructor Bio: Beyond her technical skills, one of Jennifer's loves has always been working with fabric. She worked part-time as a Freelance Educator for Husqvarna Viking for several years (2002-2003) which allowed her to start merging her computer and sewing skills. In addition, she worked as a part-time scan tech/educator for Unique Patterns from 2003 to 2006. Learning to sew as a child, Jennifer has been working with fabric for over 40 years. Her skills include couture sewing, tailoring, quilting, and home dec. Because Photoshop is the primary design tool that Jennifer uses for web design, she also started using Photoshop as a design tool for her quilts. With Adobe's release of Photoshop Elements for home use, Jennifer started teaching Photoshop Elements to Quilters along with Electric Quilt which she uses to design block based quilts.
