The Farmer's Wife 1930's Sampler with Rita Meyerhoff | JUMP IN for 2025 | FEB 5th - A BOM that started in Oct.

The Farmer’s Wife 1930s Sampler Quilt class is an inspiring class about the 1930s women of the Great Depression as well as the quilt blocks that honor them. Not only will you learn about paper piecing in this class with Rita but also about the women from the 1930s from letters written by them. There are 99 blocks but you are able to pick and choose which ones appeal to you as well as decide the block setting that you wish to use. As always there will be tips and tricks to help you piece and fussy cut as well as discuss the process along the way. The class will meet for a full day to start and then have monthly meetings to encourage and support each other. Join Rita and others as we travel this quilt sampler journey together.

Rita will get you started with a Full Day Class on Feb 5, 2025, so you can jump in with the ladies already working on their blocks - Feb 5th from 10 AM to 4 PM where she will walk you through the first 3 blocks.

Then your class will meet the 1st Wednesday of each month (except March) from 9:30 AM-12:30 AM to learn more, encourage each other and see the progress being made.  April 2, May 7

Later months can be signed up for in groups of 3 months.
