Intro to Thread Painting

Explore the basics of thread painting with Lea McComas in a safe, fun environment. Learn how to fill, shade, blend, and create contour, depth, and details with nothing more than thread. Try this technique without committing to a major project. Participants will complete a series of small exercises to learn skills in isolation, and then combine them in more intricate compositions. This workshop also includes information on thread, stabilizers, and needles.
