Pioneer Pineapple or Midnight Pineapple with Carolyn McCormick

Carolyn McCormick teaches her foundation paper piecing technique using the Add-A-Quarter Plus ruler while you make her Midnight Pineapple or Pioneer Pineapple Quilt (choose the one you would like to make).

Students will need to purchase either the Midnight Pineapple Pattern download or the Pioneer Pineapple Pattern download for $11.95 in advance of the class. They will also need a set of paper sheets for the pattern which they choose; either print and tape them together with the download purchase, or for convenience, they can purchase a set of papers from her on the day of the class for $25.00. Students can bring their own Add-A-Quarter Plus ruler, use one of hers at the class, or purchase one in our gift shop, which will be open on the day of class. Instructor Bio:

Carolyn McCormick has been quilting and teaching quilting and crafting for over 35 years. In 1993, out of frustration while working on a quilt requiring templates, she invented the Add-A-Quarter ruler, now considered a standard tool for making paper pieced items. She has since invented several more tools, published nine books on paper piecing and has published numerous patterns. She considers herself privileged to have instructed many quilters throughout the world to have success with paper piecing using her tools, books and patterns. Carolyn was raised on a ranch in Eastern Montana and currently resides in Franktown, Colorado with her husband Larry.
