Crazy Quilt Construction

Crazy Quilt Construction:

Crazy Quilts are a style of quilting which has lots of different possibilities and methods.  In this class you will learn to stabilize and use fabrics such as upholstery, brocade, velvet, silk, or lace. Several block construction methods will be learned using a muslin foundation and include straight seams, curved seams, freezer paper applique, and addition of specialty trims and handkerchiefs.  You will decide the color and style and theme of your own block whether big or small. You will also decide whether to create multiple blocks or just a single block to create a one-of-a-kind treasure. Rita is a well-known Crazy Quilter with lots of hints and helps to make your Crazy Quilt block into a fabulous creation.
