EQ Demo and Lecture with Barb Gardner

In this introductory demonstration, students who own the "Electric Quilt" or EQ program, gain the confidence to go home and play with the software. It's also good for someone who just wants to see how it works before making the decision to purchase. No computer required for the morning class session!

This program enables users to play with color, design and pattern ideas. Rotate or mirror blocks, recolor, add sashing, figure yardage, create borders (with corners automatically calculated), generate accurate patterns and more with the click of a mouse.

See a quilt evolve from an idea, to design, to pattern, to a finished quilt- all with just a few key strokes! Most of the commands are very similar to standard word processing tools you might already be familiar with.

Traditional, modern, and art quilts will all be discussed. Versions for both PC and MAC are available. Visit www.ElectricQuilt.com to see details on how this quilt designing program can change your quilting life.
