A 2 hour workshop where you will learn about the process of making Shibori fabric and you will use some pre-printed Shibori cotton fabric to create a notepad of post-it type notes for your desk. You can bring some additional fabric and make a 2nd notepad as well.

REGISTRATION will open Jan 13, 2025 for current RMQM Members and Previous Participants in 2022, 2023 or 2024 Hooray, for Summer Camps! RMQM will host week-long Kamps in June. Kampers will focus on machine piecing, ironing, color & design and finishing techniques. Intermediate and Advanced campers will expand their basic skills and work on new techniques. Each week focuses on several daily fun and useful projects which build skills, as well as a throw size quilt project completed by the end of the week. *Pick one session.. The kamp curriculum is not designed to be attended multiple weeks, as curriculum does not change week to week. *Ages eight through teen years are welcome. *Machines and most supplies will be provided. RMQM's Antique Quilt Road Show is Back! Know your Antique Quilts— Staring at 2pm, a panel of RMQM's quilt experts will be providing a 5-minute evaluations of the antique quilts you bring in to be reviewed. The audience gets to watch the experts at work and view some interesting quilts, as well as gain insight as to how quilts can reveal their age through patterns and fabrics. Values are not determined by the panel RMQM will be closed until 1pm when the Shop doors will open for some shopping before the event- then at 1:30 Seating will open for the event. Pre-Registration is required.
