Education Programs

Adult
The Sundays at the Museum lecture series offers inspiring and entertaining presentations on a variety of quilt-related and historical subjects.
RMQM also offers a variety of classes year round. Check out our new Adult Education at the Museum and the Lakewood Heritage Center. Find a class list here.

Youth
Our goal is to introduce our youth to quilting and sewing. We hope to spark their interest in a life-long passion and appreciation for the creative arts. Please visit Youth Education for a schedule of upcoming classes and kids camps. Find a class list here.

Trunk Shows
Our quilt educators come to you or will meet at the museum to show quilts in different patterns, styles and techniques. They share quilting history and can tailor the talk to your specific needs and interests. All ages, schools, civic groups, and organizations have enjoyed our trunk shows for many years. Call 303-215-9001 or email rmqm@rmqm.org to make your reservation today. Visit Trunk Shows for a description of the trunk shows that are currently offered.

Museum tours
The RMQM docents will conduct group tours upon request and reservation. Group tours of 12 or more people—admission is reduced with a confirmed reservation. Advance notice of 14 days is preferred.
