Educational Programs

Adult
The Sundays at the Museum lecture series offers inspiring and entertaining presentations on a variety of quilt-related and historical subjects. Please look for updates in our weekly e-newsletter. RMQM also offers a variety of classes year-round. Check out our Adult Education at the Museum.

Kids Kamp
Our goal is to introduce our youth to quilting and sewing. We hope to spark their interest in a life-long passion and appreciation for the creative arts.

Trunk Shows
Our quilt educators come to you or will meet at the museum to show quilts in different patterns, styles, and techniques. They share quilting history and can tailor the talk to your specific needs and interests. All ages, schools, civic groups, and organizations have enjoyed our trunk shows for many years. Call 303-215-9001 or email RMQM@RMQM.org to make your reservation today. Visit Trunk Shows for a description of the trunk shows that are currently offered.

Museum Tours
The RMQM docents will conduct group tours upon request and reservation. Group tours of 12 or more people—admission is reduced with a confirmed reservation. Advance notice of 14 days is preferred. Tours are tailored to meet the individual needs and interests of groups of all ages. Please email RMQM@RMQM.org or call 303-277-0377 to make reservations for a group.

Wine & Cheese Soiree Tours
The Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum welcomes groups of 10 or more to enjoy a special wine and cheese reception with a dedicated, docent-led tour. Book a two-hour session. The cost is $180 for a group of up to 10. $18/person over 10. Evening reservations are available by request.

Biscuits & Berries, Tea & Tours
The Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum welcomes groups of 10 or more to enjoy a special dedicated docent-led tour with tea, scones and berries refreshments. Book a two-hour session. The cost is $200 for a group of up to10.  Maximum of 16. $20/person over 10. Evening reservations are available by request.

Classes and Kamp CANCELLATION POLICY:
  • Cancellation more than 2 weeks in advance - full refund. 
  • Less than 2 weeks prior to class $25 cancellation charge.
  • Less than 48 hours - no refund unless we can fill the seat, refund of class fee minus the $25 cancellation fee.
  • No refunds to No shows.

Note: Credit Card refunds cost RMQM a processing fee, therefore a 5% Fee will be charged on CC refunds.

Please don't hold a spot if you really don't think you will be able to attend; it prevents others from making plans and signing up.
We love offering classes and will continue to offer classes we hear requests for, as often as we can.   Thank you.
