YOU can be a PART of the
ROCKY MOUNTAIN QUILT MUSEUM LEGACY!

Dear RMQM Supporter,

Ten years ago the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum (RMQM) made a big leap and purchased two building condo units in a 5-unit business condo building. This proved to be an excellent decision that enabled RMQM to double our exhibition space with two distinct galleries, control ever-rising operating costs and increase our capacity to meet our mission: to collect, preserve, exhibit and educate the public about quilts, honor quilt-making traditions, and embrace the evolution of the art and craft of quilting. Our ultimate vision has always been to own the entire building, making the entire building a quilt complex.

We are excited to announce that the time has come and we have the opportunity to purchase another building unit. This unit is at the opposite end of the building and is approximately 3,400 square feet.

The new unit would become the new home of the administrative offices, collection storage with a work area, along with a larger dedicated classroom and meeting space! All of which are much needed as RMQM has grown and expanded. The vacated office area would become a dedicated library (formerly the collection room), expanded gift shop (currently bookkeeping office), and the current library area would become a third exhibition and special events room.

YOU can make this happen with YOUR financial support! We hope to raise the $990,000 for the purchase and build-out of this expansion project. A very generous supporter has graciously offered to donate up to $120,000 if matching funds of $120,000 are received from other RMQM donors.

All donors will be recognized on a DONOR’s plaque, located in the museum. If you, and our other members/supporters would donate a minimum of $100, the Museum’s goal will become a reality. Of course, larger donations are encouraged and most welcome.

Please become part of history and make a generous donation today! You can make your generous donation here, to help make this happen.

Please feel free to call me with any questions, and thank you for your help making this goal a reality.
