Our quilt educators come to you with a show of quilts in different patterns, styles and techniques. They share a bit of quilting history and can tailor the talk to your specific needs and interests. Young and old, schools, civic groups, and organizations have enjoyed our trunk shows for many years.   Trunk Shows

Trunk shows can be designed to fit the needs of any group. They have been successfully presented to pre-school and elementary school children, to fraternal and civic organizations, to quilting groups, and to retirement and assisted living home residents. Typically the shows consist of quilts which demonstrate different quilting patterns as well as restoration and conservation methods and include discussion of the history of quilting, quilt care and current quilt designs and techniques.

Trunk shows require a minimum of 30 minutes and up to a maximum of 60 minutes, plus some setup time. Hosting organizations need only to provide a table. Racks will be brought with the show. An audience of up to 150 is acceptable, with size dependent primarily on the arrangement of the presentation space.

Cost for K-12 - $1.00 per attendee, with a $20 minimum. For all other groups - $2.00 each with a minimum of $25. For more information or to schedule a show, contact the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum 303-277-0377 during regular office hours Monday-Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
