The shows range from traditional to contemporary, each with a unique style and theme. • Each year RMQM receives over 12,000 visitors, including people from all 50 states and 33 foreign countries. • The museum employes a paid staff of 10 which includes a full time Executive Director and 9 part time positions. • Museum membership is over 600 people in both Colorado and across the country. •Over 100 dedicated volunteers give over 6,000 hours of service annually, which amounts to an in-kind value of over $90,000. • Volunteer and member efforts typically raise over 70% of the museum's gross income—through museum shop sales, the annual raffle quilt, membership dues, trunk show exhibits, fundraising events and the annual appeal fund. • Grants from SCFD (Scientific and Cultural Facilities District) and the Golden Civic Foundation amount to 23% of museum funding. • RMQM has completed the first two phases of the Museum Assessment Program of the American Association of Museums.
