The Patchwork Society 2008
The Patchwork Society is coming to the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum. Beginning
in January 2008, Kaye England’s patterns, Voices of the Past,
will be brought to you as we celebrate the lives of some extraordinary
women who have helped shape the nation’s history. Each
month we will spend some time on discussing these remarkable women
and part of the period will be spent reviewing piecing techniques
for these blocks. Patterns can be used as a “block” a
month; or for the very industrious, a “quilt” a month.
A quilt block that has been chosen to represent the women studied
will be made available to participants. We hope to further the
study of women’s history, and learn viable quilting skills.
Meetings will be held the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm
in the Education room. Membership is $15 per month which includes
a pattern, supplemental materials and a SURPRISE!
