The 2018 Sundays at the Museum lecture series offers inspiring and entertaining presentations on a variety of quilt-related and historical subjects.
RMQM also offers a variety of classes year round. Check out our new Adult Education 2018 at the Museum and the Lakewood Heritage Center.
Our goal is to introduce both boys and girls to quilting and sewing. We hope to spark their interest in a life-long passion and appreciation for the art of the needle. Please visit Youth Education for a schedule of upcoming classes and kids camps in 2018.
Our quilt educators come to you or will meet you at the museum with a show of quilts in different patterns, styles and techniques. They share a bit of quilting history and can tailor the talk to your specific needs and interests. Young and old, schools, civic groups, and organizations have enjoyed our trunk shows for many years. Call 303-215-9001 to make your reservation today. Visit Trunk Shows for a description of the trunk shows that are currently offered.
The RMQM docents will conduct group tours upon request and reservation. Group tours of 12 or more people—admission is reduced with a confirmed reservation. Advance notice of 14 days is preferred. Tours are tailored to meet the individual needs and interests of groups of all ages. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 303-277-0377 to make reservations for a group.
