Donor
Recognition
The Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum would like to thank the following
for their generous donations:
 |
|
Scientific and Cultural Facilities
District (SCFD)
Every time you spend $10 in the metro Denver area, one penny in sales tax goes
to the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District, which funds events and organizations
both large and small. Last year SCFD raised more than $38 million for science,
art, and culture. SCFD provides supplemental funding for the Rocky Mountain Quilt
Museum to provide free and reduced-price admissions, educational programs for
our schools, and a higher quality of living in our community. |

The Denver Foundation
The
Denver Foundation helps generous people build charitable legacies
that make a difference today and in the future. As Colorado's
oldest and largest community foundation, they provide the expertise
and leadership to help people give back to Metro Denver in ways
that are meaningful, to the donors and to the community.
The
Denver Foundation has supported the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum
with grants for general operating support and for technical
assistance. This year, The Denver Foundation created a new summmer
internship program. The Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum is privileged
to be one of only ten organizations selected to receive this
grant for 2007, which will provide us with a college student
Intern for eight weeks. The Intern will learn about non-profit
and museum management, and will have the opportunity to interact
with the museum staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers, while
creating a lasting program for the museum. |

Golden Civic Foundation
The Golden Civic Foundation was founded over thirty years ago to raise funds,
primarily from private sources, and to use them for the betterment of Golden. Since
then, it has contributed over $1 million to charitable, cultural, and civic projects
in the Golden community. GCF funds support special programs and projects at the
Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum. |
