Welcome to our 2018 classes at the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum. Please note that REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED for all classes. A supply list will be provided upon registration. Please call 303-277-0377 or shop our Online Store to register for classes. Please note that there is a 48-hour cancellation policy for any refund issued.

Classes will be held at our Administrative Office, 200 Violet Street Suite 150, Golden, unless otherwise posted. Please bring a lunch if the class runs through the lunch hour. RMQM Members and Nonmember prices vary for each class. If you are not a member, become a member today!

WINTER 2018 COURSES

Log Cabin Quilt Class

Learn this timeless block, it is one of the simplest patchwork patterns to make. With its light fabrics and dark fabrics everyone's creation will look incredibly different. We'll be utilizing the strip-piecing method.

Intentionally Pieced Large-Scale Paper Piecing with Amy Friend

You’ll never look at stripes the same way again!  In this workshop, we will use the Crazy Eights pattern to learn how to use stripes to their full potential while honing your paper piecing skills. Crazy Eights is a bold, modern and dynamic design. Let's learn some tricks and paper-piecing methods to make it easier!

Crazy Quilting with Rita Meyerhoff
Do you enjoy hand work? Have you been collecting buttons, handkerchiefs, lace and trims for a while and need to put them in a project? Join this class with Rita and learn how to use those one of a kind items and hand embroidery stitches to create a wonderful Crazy Quilt of your own.

Family Tree Quilt

Students will create their own tree and background collage artwork, then utilize their family photos as leaves. Finished size is 25” x 25” for a wonderful wall hanging.

Free Motion Quilting With Rita Meyerhoff

Would you like to learn free motion quilting skills and begin regularly quilting your own projects? Learn to mark your quilt tops, use stencils, and learn basic free motion quilting with everyday hints from Rita that will help you complete your next quilting project.
